KALIA KIDS FEBRUARY UPDATE

Dear Parents,

     So far we have been blessed with a rather mild winter, but you never know what Old Man Winter will bring our way and it’s important that your child be equipped with a snow suit, boots and mittens for those snowy days ahead.

     To keep informed, please read the following:

Ÿ        The school will be closed for President’s Day on Monday the 20^th.

Ÿ        Please let us know if your child will be attending Kalia Kids during the February vacation week.

Ÿ        During the week of the 6^th from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M., Kalia Schools will take the opportunity to thank you for all of your support by starting your day off right with a hot cup of coffee and a donut to go. Bon Appetite!

Ÿ        To insure confidentiality and professionalism, Kalia Schools has adopted a new policy regarding social networking. Our staff members will now be prohibited from communicating with parents on sites such as Facebook. This is not meant to offend anyone in any way, but rather to maintain and protect everyone’s privacy. For the same reasons, we would also like to remind you that as it is written in both our Parent and Staff Handbooks, our employees must abstain from babysitting for any of our Kalia families.

Ÿ        Jumping ahead to the month of March, Kalia Schools will be hosting our spring fundraiser by presenting Uncle Jerry’s T’s. The catalog is filled with many fun t-shirts and sweatshirts, along with beach towels, jewelry and other interesting items. Miss Lisa, our chairperson at Kalia Kids, will be sending out more information to you towards the end of February. All profits will be put towards purchasing outdoor toys and equipment.
